Flashback Friday: Monkey on His Back

I've been so busy lately that I completely forgot all about posting anything for the past, well, almost 2 weeks. Things get crazy with Thanksgiving, Mr. No's birthday and then Christmas all in a row.  We haven't even made any Thanksgiving crafts this year.  Yikes.

This Flashback Friday is Mr. No with his buddy the monkey backpack aka baby leash.  We bought the baby harness for when went to potentially dangerous places like the waterfall where a one second distraction could be disastrous. I liked the idea that he could have safe freedom to roam in places that you'd have to keep a tight hold on him.  He loved that little monkey and wanted to wear him around all the time. It was super cute.

Flashback Friday: Soccer

Mr. No is really starting to get into soccer this year.  He's already begging to be signed up for the spring session. So I dug out some photos from when he first started soccer.  3 year old soccer cutie, Mr. No, with some crazy shaggy hair!

Flashback Friday: Halloween Past

Since next Friday is the day after Halloween, I figured I'd dig out the photos of Mr. No's costumes through the years for this week's Flashback Friday.  Mr. No picked out every costume except his first one since he was only 10 months old.  Here's our cutie Mr. No through the years:

I'm usually behind the camera and hate to be in front of it so I'm actually amazed by the amount of photos I found of us together.  I do need to take more photos with my Mr. No, though!

Flashback Firiday: Baby No Fashion Show

We were obsessed with cute outfits for Mr. No when he was a baby.  He hung around the house in little one piece outfits most of the time but the majority of them had to be super cute, too.  Here are a few of newborn to 3 month old Mr. No's cute outfits that I found on the computer today.

Flashback Friday: October 4, 2009

This Friday, I decided to look back at this day 4 years ago.   A not quite 2 year old Mr. No and I were at his friend's 3rd birthday party.  Apparently, he enjoyed the cupcakes...or at least the frosting!

Flashback Friday: Shake, Shake...Snake?

Since Mr. No has been home sick all day and has been super silly, it reminded me of how he used to dance with his maracas and shake, shake, shake with his rubber snake.  Not sure what the meaning behind this pairing of toys was, but he used them together a lot.  He always had pairs of toys that had to be together or he'd get so upset.  Rarely would the pairing ever make sense. Here are 16 month old Mr. No and his snake doing the snake shake!

 

Flashback Friday: Little Artist

Mr. No has always loved art!  Here's 15 month old Mr. No getting very serious about painting a picture for H's birthday.  We actually still have this masterpiece hanging on the wall.

Flashback Friday: Bubble Bath

I haven't done a Flashback Friday in ages!  I miss looking through the old photos of Mr. No.  Apparently, I had these cued up in a folder for months just waiting for another Friday post when the mommy blogger hosting it had little ones who needed her attention instead.  This one popped up just as I had forgotten all about Flashback Fridays!  But, anyway, on to the cutie Mr. No photos! 

These are from when Mr. No was about 17 months old.  I used to blow bubbles for him when he was playing in the bath all the time.  Now he takes showers as often as he takes baths.  My little boy is growing up!

  

Flashback Friday: Bubble Bath!

Tonight's bath time drama made me think back to how fun and easy bath time used to be for Mr. No.  Stepstools weren't needed in the tub to elevate little feet out of the water because of  teeny owies, Neither were fighting Gormitis.  No it was just Mr. No, some water, a few bubbles and a lot of fun.

I forgot all the silly and adorable faces Mr. No used to make. And how every laugh was a big belly laugh.  And most smiles were the crazy pirate smile. I loved that crazy pirate smile!

Flashback Friday: H and No

Since Father's Day is this weekend, I'm sharing another H and No photo that I put in H's Father's Day photobook.  A simple everyday Daddy and baby moment.

Flashback Friday: Slide Races

I was digging through all my old photos this week to create a photobook for H for Father's Day.  One photo of H and Mr. No for every month since Mr. No was born.  This was one of the ones that made it in since it still makes me laugh!  I love the expressions on their faces! H and Mr. No had slide races all that afternoon and had so much fun. H almost fell off the slide more than once so his fear was real!
